teamgp: a correct assumption. Bodies like this are also pretty forgiving for use by a novice rc racer as well.

XMSRacing: The DNA2 was in stock and ready to ship to distributors on Jan 15/07. I'm under the impression that some of the major US distributor have indeed placed orders. I was told by a Superior Hobbies rep that they will have some for sale at the Snowbirds event.

Horizon has actually had them for a little bit now. Last time I checked they were only in their IL warehouse.

I got mine on Monday and was able to get it ready to run Tuesday night. I really liked it. It seemed to handle well in the hands of a novice racer like me.

Thumbs up

Just noticed that the DNA2 #1488 in now on the ROAR Approved List. For those that are fans of the Protoform Nemesis bodies #1473 (190mm) and the #1474 (200mm) - just wanted to let you know that they too are now on the ROAR Approved list.

A sincere "thanks!" to you guys for your support.

So then.... how's this been performing for the people who've tried one?
I have to admit, I did like the balance of the DNA1 on my Evo, but the MazdaSpeed6 was quicker (certainly on rubber tyres/rug), so wonder how this will go...

wasn't the DNA1 designed for foam/carpet? If so, it would make sense that the speed6 would be faster on rubber

There's a guy who mops up in the stock class at SoCal raceway with one of those... puts the touring cars to shame It needs it's own setup, but is very fast...
