The JRXS-R is looking better all the time..

Oh it looked good in LV, but the thing that blows is it keeps getting pushed back and I wonder if it will ever come out!!

It's coming, we just have to wait. The TC5 will make things very interesting, being the two big American makes will have new gear out around the same time. I'll keep saving my pop cans...

Don't look now, but Associated and its team put two cars in the show at the DHI cup ahead of XRay. Not bad for the FK0TC5, huh?

Ronald Völker /Germany - HB Cyclone/LRP
Marc Rheinard /Germany - Tamiya/Checkpoint
Andy Moore /England - HB Cyclone/Team Orion
Juho Levanen /Finland - Associated/LRP
Joel Myrberg /Sweden - Associated/LRP
Simo Ahoniemi /Finland - Corally/GM
Paul Lemiuex /USA - Xray/Truespeed
Alexander Hagberg /Sweden - Xray/LRP
Jilles Groskamp /Holland - Xray/Trinity
Marc Fischer /Germany - Corally/GM

All AE needs to do is anodize the parts of the prototype cars blue, half the reason people say it looks like an XRay is due to the color scheme, or lack thereof.

Like it or not, AE have a car that's capable of competing at any level, and it's not even in production yet.

And the exaggerated mounts for the shock towers, that's very FK05 looking. Most cars using that style of mounting have gone to a much smaller design.

I just slapped my own troll hand. The T2 was great, I'm sure hardly anybody laughed at it.

its so funny how all of you look at a new car and compare it to another saying it looks the same when the car you are comparing to is an exact copy of another car as well. guys every car looks identical now. get over it.... just need to have someone design something totally different that actually works.. but then agian everyone will copy that design as well.... if you have a chassis layout with the motor on the left and batteries on the right and dual belt there is only so much you can do to make it look a little different..

I think my current car is unique. So does the one I have on pre-order. Both are unlike any other.

And unfortunate that they are carrying the VCF2 shocks over from FTTC4. They still leak, doesn't matter what you do. Versus the Tamiya TRF shocks, just not there. I get one more lap in with my hopped up TA05 than my FTTC4 in the same class at my club. That is 16 to 17 seconds faster in a 5 minutes race.
