Default CS2P Transmitter...something for the future?

Not sure about you, but I miss the style and feel of the old CS2P transmitters. Anyone have any success in upgrading this classic case with the latest digital technology?

Your thoughts?

I used to love that radio. I used them for years and when they were discontinued I bought 3 on close out. If I hadn't run out of them I would probably still be using one.

Maybe someone at Airtronics or another manaufacturer will listen? The case was the best fit and design to date. Always comfortable!!!

I'm actually going to dig through my rc graveyard and see what can be done?

I really like the "panic" button just above your thumb. Made for some great holeshots.

definitely, just hold it and floor it to launch.
i still have mine but im not sure what im gonna do with it. it works almost flawlessly, but it will glitch every once and a while, so i just wish there was a way to make it synthesized or spektrum compatable

I got rid of it because of the glitches. But I'd like to see if anyone has tried a spectrum system with this transmitter case? It would make for a nice little project.

Funny, I'm not the only weirdo who thought of converting and old radio. Except mine is my old Futaba beige box radio. How cool would that be on Spektrum? OK, not so cool, I get it
