Default Question for EA

Hello, got a question... I was browsing your site and noticed that you will rebuild stock motors. I was curious how this will help my existing motor, my biggest problem I am having as of right now is that there are several people at the track I am racing at beating me by about 5-6 laps, and they are blowing by me on the straight aways...I am racing carpet oval touring cars...I am looking at getting at least two motors rebuilt, but just wanted to hear how this will help my motors...thanks Jeff

Hey bro... You might get a faster answer if you PM him... unless you tried that already.

Honestly, no flame intended... but, being beat by a gap of 5-6 laps... the motor can't help you THAT much.

Dear EA,

Nobody in R/C likes me. What brushes should I use to get more R/C friends? :-(

There's a decent amount of info on the web about tuning stock motors. This tutorial is a little bit dated, but I've seen it recommended here several times in the past, and it seems to be a good source of information if you're getting started. Motors tend to lose their "tune" after they've been run a few times, so you'll be at a much bigger advantage if you learn to do these things yourself.

Give the guy a break, he is asking a question. It is just not the right place to ask it.

Not to revive a dead thread, but:

Over a 5+ minute race, 5-6 laps could actually be significantly remedied with a faster motor.
