I still use mine. Works great, no need to upgrade.

What did you change in order to use the transmitter antenna instead of the spectrum?

after seeing my Friends radio (M11) done this way, I had to see if it was possible to do for the KO Mars.... & "yep" it was!!!!

it was really easy, but you DO have to open the radio up, as long as you take your time & take note on the "locations" you remove the screws, you'll be fine...

you have to "open" up the opening where the antenna exits the body of the radio, but that is basically it....I also drilled a hole in the Spectrum Module so the wire exited the Module Case and entered the Radio through the opening that already existed by the "prongs" that connect to the module..My Buddy has the perfect "plug" to use to cover the "old" hole in the Module so you won't be able to tell the difference....

Please note when you remove the antenna wire from the circuit board of the Spektrum Module that you do NOT re-install it in the wrong location.. there are 2 locations on the circuit board, just don't get them mixed up. On my Pro Module, the correct location is J1 & NOT J2...

good luck, it's painless AS LONG AS YOU TAKE YOUR TIME!!!!!!!

Actually currently I own the Helios, I still have the Mars 2000 edition, would it be easy to do the same?

Hi Guy's
I have a Mar's R with the Extendable wheel and was wondering what setting do you guy's use for a large open Fast track with a few Tech corners.Having to use the Brakes a lot in Modified I have been trying to get a good setting for the Radio. The track has a large sweeping full speed corner and sometimes I feel it turning in to much so what settings do you guy's use on your steering setup to help this and why.I know you can adjust the settings to fix this but how.
Thanks Guys
Addam
