Price listed for the Stinger is app. 55.000 yen .. the same as the R3CE. Think you can calculate the price from there )

It looks like a very expencive car .. let's hope it delivers some extraordinary driving for the extra bucks

sorry for the confusion guys, MSRP in USD is around $540, and the price we're estimating (mid $400) is the street price here in the US.

I'm going to see if I can get some pics from them

I guess I need to hope I don't like it!!!!!! Thats ok I know the Mazda 6 will work for sure and is the poplular body to run.

Was thinking of trying that new Ride Accord that alot of the guys in Europe are running. Say they did well in the Thialand race.

Hey just wondering for those of you that are running the R3 in 19T what your final drive ratio is. I have a C2 and geared with a 72/27 and it is a bit hot although it flies! I think that the drive ratio is 6.50. I ran some laps with it and it topped out 3/4 of the way down the long straight. I'm sure it's already been posted somewhere in the thread just don't have the time to go through them all. Thanks Gene

What kind of track are you running on?
If it's outdoors then your ratio seems a bit high. Most outdoor tracks I've raced on need 5.2-6.3 and I'm usualy slightly higher than most. At a smallish medium sized tarmac track I gear 5.92 (68/28)and it works well, my 19T motor is quite torquey though, others gear closer to 5.5. I used to gear at 6.28 ( thought I was still at this ratio until I just checked my spur gear size ) I wish Kimbrough would print the number of teeth on their smaller spurs, my 72 tooth one has it marked but the smaller one I'm using doesn't, I'm guestimating its 68....

It's a large Asphalt track 190X85 with a medium difficulty infield. I don't think I should gear down any more as it might burn up the motor or esc. It seemed quick enough on the back straight which is the length of the track. I run my TC3/4 with a drive ratio of 6.43 figured I would be able to gear about the same. I am going to try another ESC and motor and see how it goes. Thanks Gene

Default Broken chassis

Hello everyone.....While racing today I put into the boards and broke a peice out of my chassis where the rear lower arm is mounted. I am useing mid span arms, can I run long span arms in the rear and mid span arms up front or just run long span all around. Anyone where I might obtain a new chassis, SpeedTech shows it out of stock.

Default Broken chassis

This is the R3 chassis, the outer rear mounting hole for the mid span arms. I intend to buy a new chassis as soon as I can find one.
