Greetings programs (You're at least in your mid 30's if you remember that line!)

I'm looking for a set (4) shock mounts for my R2, and a pair of shock shafts...anyone have spares I could buy off of them??

Email me if you do... [email protected]

Thanks!!!

What do you mean exactly by upper shock mounts? If you tell me the part number, maybe I can help you out

Hi... I don't have part numbers, but I'm referring to the
pieces that screw to the shock towers, that the top of the shock slips over, then you put a nut on it to secure the shock...
I guess they're also called shock bushings...

Oh... another question...anyone know if the Losi or Associated shock shafts work in the R2 shocks?
I hate to order a $10 item and pay another 50% for shipping...

Thanks guys!

Ron

you should look into YOKOMO shock mounts and also shock shafts its been awhile since i had a "cuda" but believe the yokomo parts are a direct replacement
i used to use yokomo bladder type shock caps......

I have just gotten an R3 as well and besides the arms, I would go with the diff cups, Steering knuckles and if you don't have the aluminum hub carriers those as well. These are the parts I know I will need! Not sure about any thing else you may want to carry as I have not run the car much and actually have not broken anything yet! (keeps fingers crossed!) I am only running a stock motor in it right now though.

On the contrary, i think R3 hardly breaks anything much than most wear n tear stuff. I did stock up usual 'prone breakage' spares. Just in case

Looks like a MSRP is released for the new Alex Racing Stinger

estimated price in the US will be mid $400

I'll see if I can get more specs and details (or maybe Dave will have that ready for us)

The price that Steve mentioned was the MSRP, the street price should be lower than that. Well, if you think of it most of the top cars that are out now are selling for $350-$400.
