Dave, what kind of surface do you drive on? Every pic of your cars looks brand new, do you race carpet?

Hi Guys,

Sorry I haven't been on here much, just been trying to catch up after the ROAR nats.

I got redbullfixx's setup from the nats and I'll post that on the www.alexracingusa.com website.

Having used and abused the Novak sport system for several months now I can say I'm a big fan of this product. It has worked flawlessly since installation...and this included the abuse the SpeedTech RC Team provided the system at the Tamiya Enduro

Hats off to Novak for producing a system that is both fast, fun and allows me to relax and work on my tan between heats

Awesome work Madjack with shoehorning that badboy in there. I've got to "shorten" my wires before I cram it into my Evo3.

RBF, where did you get those male "corally" style plugs? You know, the ones with the hole on the sides to stick your thingy in and fill with the gooey stuff that gets hard when it cools off. (sounds perverted haha)

Yikes that ESC for the brushless is huge you could do with a smaller reciever too Madjack

I think I'll get the Novak system for next years outdoor season, should be allowed to run it aslong as I don't blow the competition away I may manage that anyway by then

Will be going back to kit setup and doing a rebuild for this sunday, I hope to be going to Carlisle yet again. The track seems to suit me so well and weather is normaly good, so it's worth the long travel. I have to break into 18 laps too, with the 19t, I know it's possible and I won't rest until I've done it
New Alfa 2.0 is now mounted and ready to roll too, looks smart with white dish wheels, I'll try get my mate to take his digi cam on Sunday. The aim was to make it easier to see than my 300M, which looked great but was hard to spot in a crowd of far off cars

So hows everyones racing going?

Thats a really clean BL install considering how huge that ESC is... I wonder how long before Novak releases a micro ESC to replace it.

Yep...I agree the receiver a bit on the large size. That being said my local track seems to provide a multitude of radio hits. So for those of us running 75mhz the huge PCM receiver seems to be the best solution.

Hi guys. Greetings from Malta.

Reading through recent posts I understand that the Barracuda is gaining in popularity in the Japan area.

I'm not surprised because it looks a great and very well engineered car.

I have raced Yokomos for years and run an SD at present.

I also have an RC shop from which I sell most makes, but will not unfortunately be selling Barracudas, despite the fact that I wouldn't mind oing so, or for that matter running one myself.

I will explain.

I e-mailed Alex Racing proposing to start importing and selling Barracudas in Malta. I got a reply from Xenon who asked me a number of questions which were in any case answered in my original mail.

They then told me that all their European distribution was being done through a German firm. I got onto that firm's website but all I could find was off road cars, mainly Losi, and not a single mention of Barracuda....anywhere.

No wonder you don't see any Barracudas in Europe. Clearly Alex Racing are perfectly happy to just stick to selling their cars in Japan, and letting the other manufacturers enjoy the not inconsiderable sales of Rc products in Europe.

I suppose I'll have to stick to selling Yokomo, Associated, Losi, Corally, Schumacher, and all the others.

Regards

Joe from sunny Malta.
