Hi all

Having just installed Xenon front C hubs they seem to have movement forwards and back. Would you advise to shim the play out and if so would you put the shims to the front or rear of the C hub?

Thanks

Tim

I tried them out last night for the first time. They were built with hard rings so it felt fine. Will have to see how long they last though.

Anyone tried the aluminium diff outdrives? It seems the soft diff rings are too soft ey. Have to try the hard ones and will let you know

Yeah...I can't wait to see what Alex has in store. I am doing fine, I just got back into racing after 2 months(last race was at Mimi's in Jan), been too busy with stuff. You still have any elec TC to race with ?

Not at this time. Just lost interest for right now. I'm really having fun again just racing my gas truck and every now and then race one of my monster trucks. Maybe sometime down the road I might look into another touring car. I might look closer when some of the new cars hit the market.

On the Alex wishbones for the R2 the ball system, are the balls 6.8mm as i checked on speedtech and they have 6.8 and 5.8mm i managed to break one yesturday (dont ask). What size is needed, there appears to be long and short stand 5.8mm balls and a 6.8mm one.

You want the 6.8mm. Get the offset 6.8mm ones since these are much stronger than the black alum ones.

So, for those of you who have been waiting.....
there is now a 2 degree rear hub for the R3, with the same roll centre as the R3 standard rears. So those of ya with an R2...get out there and give these a go. Great on the high speed tracks, and they really rip out of the corner now the bones are level across the rear.

Apparently there should be some shots of the new car out soon I am sure Dave will be there for us when the time comes

And.... for you guys in the UK...... get the CE bulkheads and the Alex alloy hubs. Get those camber links low and nice and short, then sit back and prepare to be amazed

More later.......

What can i do to make my R3 less darty,I dialed out steering, put in a slower servo and the car seems like it's ready to come around any time,or is just the way the car is? The other cars I'm driving are a TC4,Mi2 and an Xray FK 04,I do like the R3 but i just cant seem to get it to work..
