Have you ever tried the X-Ray shocks on the Cuda ? They are adjusteble so you can change the pistion just by "turning'n twisting" on the damper just woundering if they fit ..

Nope Have not tried the X-Ray ones...but I have tried the Tamiya TRF ones with good results and..they are a breeze to work on...but also the Alex ones are pretty good after you use the Yokomo blader cap

Did this last month a tad bit outward. Let me know what you guys think.
I know the new R3 had a better look than this, at least I don't have to cut my bulkheads

it has more roll compare to stock so I did some shocks adjustment to make it less.
Not so good when taking high speed corner
I suppose I had to reduce the angle since I placed it rather outward.

Did the same to the front side

Tried inverted steering rack more roll, but also more linear steering throw.

Awesome! Be sure to post your set-ups.

I would pick Tamiya shocks too. The Xray shocks are the same as Serpent and the old Corallys and I hated those plastic bodies. When I put the Alloy bodies on they just didn't seal up well with the crappy bladders the shocks are supplied with

Nice effort but i can't really understand why your running your upper links at such extreme angles ??

Also with the rack that way up, your getting alot of bump steering as the wishbones move upward

Default Cuda wins!!!!

Continuing on from the great results from Malta,

The Cuda R3S claims the overall win in Rd 7 of the BRCA Super Stock Nationals at Bedworth. Niel Castle run Jimmys "wet" car (I believe) to take victory.

Better news still, Jimmy Maddison is crowned BRCA Super Stock Champion 2004 using the R3S

Plenty of Cudas on show too, with a good all round showing from the team. Roll on 2005!!!!!

It wasn't purposely intended that way, hence my saying bit outwards mounting.
Naturally it should be less angled.
I am trying now moving the mounting back to top (but still same mounting point). This would be like using the same top mounting but extended out. Hope to get better LR transfer response in a way.

For the steering, I used to use outer top of the knuckle arm with normal steering rack positioning.
It give more turning angle as well as reducing possibilities of ball cup dropping off.
Downside of that is it has variation in angle on different level of acceleration (FR wt transfer) so I try to get it less / linear. I prefer this setup over previous combination.
The default mounting is also close to linear but I don't like the idea of mounting my cups under the knuckles.
