Thanks, but I'm looking more for ways to mount to the upper deck or shock tower or bumper maybe.
I fabbed up a mount out of a piece sheet lexan that mounts to the inner most upper shock mounting holes and comes down to the top of the bumper and then forward far enough so that the transponder wire can go up and over the shock tower without being pushed into to close to the shock tower..... Pretty sweet actually.
My concern is it being mounted forward of the shock tower on top of the bumper, frontal impacts and the like.
Looking for other ideas, I am
Thanks

Hi Guys,
I was curious about the Xenon belt conversion so I emailed the owner of Xenon Racing this morning, and this was his reply:
Dear Steve
Absolutely NO!!!
We are not making any belt drive conversion for Barracuda.
Best Regards
Terutaka Hanaumi
Xenon Racing
Sorry if any of you were hoping for that, but who knows, the IFMAR worlds is coming up and there's always new stuff at the Worlds

Alot of the racers are recommending to change over the R2 bleeder shock caps to the Yokomo caps.
Could someone elaborate.
Which particular parts or parts numbers would I need.
Thanks

Here you go... 2nd item down.
http://64.70.208.72/speedtechrc/289.html
Converts the shock from a TC3 style shock to a Tamiya style shock. Offers a lot more control and consistency when building your shock with no sloppy air gap.

I just finished my new R3 Cuda. I need to put electronics in it yet. Very free for being brand new so I know once I run it then it will be even better.
A few questions though. Anyone have any pics of the sway bar setup for the R3. Also I see it looks like the car has a front bumper brace. Anyone use it and have any pics of that on the car. Never seen anyones Cuda's with that setup on it yet.
I can see where the steering rack don't let the steering turn too far. I guess I will be ordering the Aluminum one here in the near future. Anyone have a close picture of their steering rack setup? Mine is unbeleivably smooth with the bearing setup in but I do have a little slop but nothing that would affect the performance of the car. I will shim it some when I get the new alum. rack.
I did build the new shocks per the directions and the suplemental sheet no spacers are needed in the shocks but their is no way unless I use spacer is the length going to be 59.5mm per the instructions. Not a problem because for me unless I use 63mm rubber tires 59.5 is too short for me to run foam tires anyways so I have the shocks at 61.50mm in length and it is perfect.
All in all the new R3 is awesome looking car. Can't wait til Saturday to try it out.
