Wouldn't kid about stuff like that. I did eat some graphite dust and sniffed some as well. That stuff sucks!!!!!

I have the car about 70% done. I have the drive line all hooked up and the a arms and shock towers are all on as well. I'm actually going to try the one way but RCO is pretty tight to use one but I will try it. The sparkle chassis with the blue parts is awesome!!!!!!!

I sent your parts out as well. I would think you could get them tommorrow since you only live 2 hours from me but if not Thursday. I will have my R3 done tommorrow for the most part and then Thursday will be used to put my R2 back together and then to steal parts from it to the R3 as needed.

Friday I will use to put the radio in and final setup. I hope my body from the R2 fits the R3.

I guess the kit don't come with a servo saver....?
Nope no servo saver.. you can get the Tamiya one...but it has a lot of slop in it. .... Your if you have access to a Kawada one that would be the best
now as for the Steering Rack...?? did you pick up the PAL Alloy one..?? it has a bit more travel than the graphite one

No servo saver in the kit I had to go to a hobby shop 20 miles away to find a small one when I built my R3. I'm just waiting on Jim to help me out with a few choice parts (hint, hint....)

Well somehow when I had my other Cudas I happened to have a brand new steering rack that had the bearings in with it so I used it. I will look into the aluminum one down the road.

Right now my R3 don't have the alum. idler gear holders, do you think I will strip spur gears? I will have some blue one from my R2 and will use them if needed.

Yea I was surprised of having no servo saver but I have a few here so not a problem.

So far the R3 is building pretty easy. I would of liked to see hardened parts and mid span arms on the car for the price. I stole parts off my R2 like my mid span arms and off set ball studs for the arms. I also will be using my blue alum. idler gear holders (if I find I need them) and I will steal some of my stainless steel scres from the R2 as well. My R2 will be mainly a parts car.

you should not have any problems with the R3 plastic holders... but I would try to use the Alloy one up front on both cars.. and then upgrade them in the rear after you get them...also the alloy ones are a bit less binding(pinching on the bearing) than the plastic ones ....

Are you talking about the Transponder/servo mount that bolts to the servo/chassis...or the Alloy holder that the Transponder mounts on to..??

Talk a look at the attached picture.. are you talking about the item at the lower right hand corner.??

Hey Dave

I am interested in the actual Alloy holder that the transponder mounts into in the lower right hand corner, you are correct...Ed McMahon would so say
Do you have any pics showing how a personal or where a personal might be mounted.??
