Hi Guys,

Actually if any one is interested in a complete spring chart AND wheel rate chart, please email me at:

[email protected]

This will allow you to roughly compare setups from different cars with your cuda

I know he was talking about it some. I guess if I get a car built I could send it to him to look at. Also maybe Steve at Speedtech could send him a R3 Chassis setup for Jason ot look at and then BMI Could sell Cuda kits thru Speedtech. Now that would be cool.

Thanks. I think I will take my time and order a R3 in the next few weeks and take a few days to build it when it does get here. I want to blueprint the driveline and really make it smooth. I also want to build one from new since I never had a new Cuda. Thanks for the part offer as I might need help on that for the first few weeks I have the car.

I need to sell my killer Ice Blue BMI TC3. Shouldn't be too hard as it is trick and in mint condition. Then the blue R3 will come.

Wow, you got rid of the BMI TC3 quick !! It's still a toss up for me between a Xenon R2 and R3. Still a nice find tho on that R2. I'll have parts with me at the ORL race this Sunday if you think you need some spares till you get your stuff ordered (don't forget those delrin outdrives ).

You thinking of getting an R3. I won't have the car til Wed or Thursday and then I will be getting my Speedtech order ready. Car looks great from the pics and has about all the hopups. It is red and I like blue but I can deal with that and maybe later I will chrome it. I very minor thing.

I will be getting diff halfs and hard mid span arms. I will be having a nice parts order. Need to see when Steve is getting in his Cuda order.

Thanks Steve. Jut posted on the Speedtech Customer Service area but it was just to ask when you are getting in more Cuda parts. I plan on placing a pretty big parts order with you in a week, 2 weeks at the latest and some of the stuff I wanted to order showed as out of stock.

Good and bad news,...
Bad ... no more PAL hubs will bee made..

Good news is that ALex will be making there own Alloy PAL style hubs now that will be realesed in October some time. they will be just a little bit different than the PAL version ones... but they will be standard issue possibly on the next ALEX car

I'm in the process of getting my Cuda ready for carpet season. Anyone have a good setup for carpet to use as a starting point?

So these new hubs will be machined alloy? and come as standard on the newer versions of the Cuda! sounds good
Plastic/carbon composite versions would be a nice option IMO, light and more chance of getting them in various toe in versions.

With the R4 so far off, will they include them with an updated R3 kit?
By the R4 comes out I may be ready for a new Cuda

Got my R2 ready to rock tomorrow. Well actualy I've barely touched it since the last race about a month ago but it came back from that race in good shape, just needed a dust down and some motor prep
Tomorrow's weather is a bit questionable but if there's decent grip I'll be playing with droop to get this setup dialed in. I must write some post it notes for my pit box
Must adjust droop!
Put the next set of cells on to charge!
Don't glue tyres to body shells!

I don't think Alex needs to make a totally new Cuda. As the R2 Xenon and R3 package are pretty darn good they way they are. They hae lots of adjustments already which is nice and lots of good up to date parts for them. Maybe some moreafter market stuff from them for the car but hang no real need for anything really new.

I would post some pics of the new one I have coming but the picture size is too big and I didn't figure out how to shrink it yet.
