Since I now have access to a digital camera here are a few photo's for you.
Now don't let anyone say there's no room for a large speedo!

merciless,

nice work. i actually did almost the same thing to my r2. except i left more material above the outdrive bearing and drilled and tapped a hole so that the ball stud fastens to the bulkhead, not the upper deck. i lost the adjustability of varying the link length, but i can still adjust roll center, or camber gain, by moving the ball vertically with shims.

do you find tht the upper link is too angled with your mod? it seems to me that it would be. my ball stud is placed just below center of the top plate. i see yours is much lower, since it uses the plate as a base.

I haven't actually got to run it yet in this format, To be honest i'm hopeing to have the Speedway hubs on there before i do run it in about a weeks time

As for the angles for the camber links i cannot be sure yet, The rear is quite level but the front is indeed angled but then with the std. hubs i was using the most angled setting !! so this is less than that !

Something i have thought about is using TC3 style ball studs on the inside too this would allow for even greater movement up and down when compared to the cuda items

TBH i have only done this to see what it looks like before fitting the PAL items.......

I don't like the HPI rear hubs having to be drilled

And the cuda front c-hubs cut down will be to weak to race with IMO

But i think with alittle fiddleing the mounting of the upper links off the top plate will work just fine
