DAVE

Doing the bulkhead mod should be easy for me as a mate works in a machine shop just got to talk nicely to him

Just woundering how good a fit the TC3 front hubs are before i go buy a set ?? and the HPI rears ??

Do they alter the height of the wheel in relation to the wishbones from std. R3 i.e the roll center ???

And are pro4 bearings the same size for those rear hubs or will i need new there ??

Just a few questions cause this promising and i could give it ago in the std. parts before buying them in alloy for not many $$

the TC3 ones will need a very small amount of work (i.e. nothing) as for the rear height of the HPI Pro4 hubs they are .5mm taller where the ball stud mounts..but I run my PAL rear hubs with a 1mm shim so it will work out just fine
the bearings on the Pro4 are the same as the Cuda in the rear so thats one more plus..
all you have to do now after you modify the bulk heads is flip the upper deck over and mount the 5.8mm ball stud facing down
-Dave
now to get out that spare set of bulkheads to work on

Hmm,
Funny thing. I did the same thing prior in preparation for the Reedy Race.

I opted to use the Associated Castor blocks and the cuda or yokomo knuckes drop in driectly. The Associated castor block uses a smalled diameter hinger pin vs the Alex arm...so you have to drill out the associated castor block to fit.
