I am thinking of getting a R3 kit.

so is this mean I can buy a new kit that it already come with the BLACK chassis?

Or i still need to buy the one that with a Sparkle chassis, then hop up with the 2 black chassis?

Also, can someone explain to me, how do you adject the rear Toe in on R3?

and is R3 easy to get its weight balance, compare with the Yokomo SD SSG etc?

Hope some 1 can give me some suggestion. THX

You can adjust the rear toe in with the offset pillow balls and with the rear hubs. The offset pillow balls are really nice and super strong.

19 turn motors are pretty similar from my experience, atleast they are if geared properly, which a lot of people still can't seem to get right
Matrix do a nice 19turn, last years model, (I've not tried their newest one) very punchy and plenty top end.
Chameleon based 19turns are good too, I'm currently using a nice Demon tuned version, which is a bit more flexible with the gearing than the Matrix, but does run hotter.
The Ready Quad mag seems fast enough, not used one myself, but it can usualy just about keep up with my car
Then there#s the new Peak Vantage 19turn with the V2 endbell, I'd like to try one of these I don't think they're much more powerful, just very very easy on the comm.

Most 19T motors......if geared correctly, can be made to go quickly. One thing to come out of the national this weekend was that the v2 endbell is easily damaged by crash impacts. I saw one get the brush hood crushed on its first run out of the packet

Whatever you choose to run, check with the fast guys at the track you run on what gearing they are running and try 1 tooth lower for starters. Not every one can drive the same as the super quick guys

Dave, any ideas where I can get PAL or other Aluminium front knuckles, C Hubs and rear knuckles...preferably in Orange of course. I know Ive got the Xenon ones but fancied trying something a little different

Are any of you guys trying to get the corner weights correct ??

I.E 25% of the total weight on each wheel

Or are you just "leveling" it with the shocks ?? like taking out the tweak ??

I'm having a very hard time trying to get the corner weight equal alround and i've even put 1 of the cells on the same side as the motor to help

My next idea was to get the chassis under the servo cut out so i could put lead weight under the servo to help out as it's deffinately at the front on the servo side where the chassis light !!

Getting the two sides of the car even is easy but trying to get all four corners the same is proving near impossible

To be honest it ain't even close

I think that youmight be trying to hard to get it perfect just worry about left and right balance and then tune the car for over and under steer from there but you are on the right direction with the weight on the motor side and the servo area too
take a look at some of thhe pis I will attach and you will see a few good ideas
