wyd, maybe you should get Dave to re-anodize one of your blue cuda's to green.

I could send my Cuda to Macky on this site and get the green color to. The blue is cool because stuff is easy to get.

I think that would be the better choise too much money $$$ to get it done here in Japan Besides Macky can might know where to get it done faster

Yea I saw a green car Macky had done, he had a Corrally Assassin all done in green and it was killer looking.

Would not be too cost effective to send it to Japan to get it anodized.

How does a front one way affect the wear of the gears? Will it make the gears strip easy? Was going to put a one way in for this weekend but not sure how it will wear the gears. With the front diff in I have no wear at all and don't really fear stripping any gears.

There's no worry of stripping the Cuda's gears, ran a one way all last summer and not a hint of the gears being stripped. Only problem was the occasional tiny stone getting caught in the teeth and taking lupms out of the opposite gear.

Cool. I know some cars really start eating gears when I one way is involved.

Ok here is one more question. I have a Alex racing one way drive shaft, will it work with my Xenon stage 2 kit and drive line? If so I will run that and leave both diffs in but still have the benefit of a one way. Easier to change out if I don't like it but should give me all the same benefits as running the one way diff.

If you can strip a one-way gear in this car..there`s only 2 ways
1) can`t drive
2) gear`s not shimmed right

Now for shimming the one way gear and Bevel gear you can go about 100pages back in this thread or I can explane it over again

OK if you want a quiet running cuda you will need to find out what version of the 16T bevel gear you have.. there are 3 types..
1st type (R1) where the bevel gear slot goes straight down the middle..and has small ridge behind the gear... this gear needs to be shimmed with a .03mm shim
....??? wait I`ll just post some pic`s a bit later ...( bought a new digi camera )

Don't matter how quit it is to me as long as it is free and mine is very free and smooth.

Just figure if I could I will try out that one way drive shaft that I have. Quicker than switching out my diff. Not sure if it fits with my Xenon drive line.

Nope..can`t run the center oneway shaft..unless you have a R1 and a One FLag motor mount
But a Cuda with 2 oneways carries a Sh!t Load of corner speed

Thanks Dave. I guess I will either try out the front one way diff or my Speedtech front spool I have.

Where in PA do you live? I live in the Philadelphia area and might be able to hook up one day. I have lots of pink goodies on my R3!

I live near Harrisburg. I'm thinking I might race at WestChester this weekend at Hobbytown on Saturday. Was their last weekend on Sat racing.

Wyd,

Would be cool if you showed up at WC this Sat. I had planned to go two weeks ago but it was rained out. Definately going to make it there this weekend if the weather holds up.
