So you indicate the front axles from the SD fit...
GTO2 indicates the bones by tobeecraft for the SD fit.....
I don't like alloy bones for the front though.....
which kind of makes me think the overall dimensions for a whole cvd is compatible...
Front Axles from the SD fit the Cuda up front
as far as drive shafts.?? questionable but maybe..
and now you see why I have never run alloy bones up front
Steel ones with Ti axles or Steel ones with regular axles..

Hi Herminator
I'm useing MR4 front axle and TC3 dog bone and TC3 out drive in my oneway diff, and they are CVD joint made by MIP product..
The barracuda oneway out drive and tc3 are the same size... and you can use the MIP ebuilt kit too ..

hmm... wasn't going to use yokomo brand products.
Do you know if the yoke bones are much different in length? and do the ends fit the normal cuda outdrives?
The bone length isn't a huge problem, may be able to get things sorted

Herminator I wasn't talking about useing yokomo brand axles
I'm useing MIP CVD yokomo axles andTC3 dog bones and TC3 out drive The TC3 are standard size and they are not metric size
You can use metric dog bone like HPI but you have to make sure that the dog bone are the right lenght and the will fit with your barracuda out drive

Herm,

whats wrong with the Alex Racing axles and bones????
Ok the Alu bones wear around the cvd joint but the steel bones on Ti axles seem to hold up a lot better.

Its just another thing to add to the "must check" list between races!!!!

Apart from the Alu bones, everything else is holding up really good on my car, havent had to change the shimming anywhere at all.
And....for those who want to know... the Barracuda is very very strong, lost the back end riding too much curb at the last national and was hit by one of team Xrays factory drivers who was flat out at the time, I had a small mark on the shell to show for it and the xray came off a fair bit worse Still only had one breakage in the year ive had the car!!! Well happy with that

Nothing wrong with the cuda cvd's, but steel is heavy. Alloy dog bones are a no no for me now, atleast up front but I still want lightness, so it leaves one obvious material choice
