Hi Guys,

As of today, all the R2 on the first batch are pre-sold out. We will now be taking pre-orders for the next batch of R2, which is due in May as I'm told.

Also, after final pricing on shipping and exchange rate, the kit will be slightly over our estimate price (mainly due to the weakening US Dollar against the Japanese Yen) Sorry about that guys this is something that is beyond my control.

I don't like shipping regular air mail (as they have a chance of getting lost) EMS is fast, with tracking number and insurance.

If you planning on pre-ordering one, it is time to do it now, because I believe our first batch is down to just 3-4 kits.

Charge what's fair to you! I've bought my fair share of $300 plus cars and have never been disappointed in doing so as I would gladly pay a little more for an alloy and carbon fiber 'works' car than buy a total clunker plastic car that has to be re-invested with $150 in carbon after market parts and precision alloy bits.... If you want the ferrari you gotta expect to pay for it- or maybe after last weekend we should say McLaren

Speedtech, did my preorder go thru?
I have not received and email about confirmation or anything and im just curious

and in regards to me asking the price, due to the duties that kill shipping between canada and the US, it is often cheaper to order directly from Hong Kong
I do want a ferarri, but why spend an extra 30 bucks on one, when I can get the same car, in the same time?
Im just a frugal shopper.

and 30 US, is 45 up here...so that is a substantial savings in my book.
i dunno, my own opinion

Hi Guys,

All of you that have pre-ordered will get a car kit on this first batch, so don't worry, and we are pushing to get a second batch in before May (Maybe sometime mid-April)

The car might also arrive early, as early as possibly tomorrow

Thanks

Hi Guys,

We've been working on a new website dedicated to the Alex Racing Design Barracuda R2, and here's the web address:

www.alexracingusa.com

It might take about 1-2 more weeks before it opens, but start bookmarking it now Also, it will be a simple website (nothing flashy) but hopefully we can provide a lot of information for the Barracuda Racers

Thanks for reading,

Here you go..

Alloy Shaft support holders part #6720B

Center Oneway shaft part #6760B (the 'b' is for blue)

the letter at the end of the part# = the color
B=blue
P=pink
R=red
M=purple ( Murasaki is how you say purple in Japanese )

Hi Guys,

The car kits have arrived! I'll be finishing up the supplement instruction sheet and the parts list in English.

Also, the price of the R2 will be $309.99 Our spec is a little bit better than all the R2 out there (we requested different specs for the US market) The R2 kits from us will have full ball bearing steering (I'm not sure why, but the original spec of R2 only have bushing steering). I feel that this is an necessity, so we are including in a full bearing kit for the steering as well.

Everyone on the pre-order list will be contacted either by phone or email today. Thank you all for your patience.

Also, don't forget to bookmark the upcoming website: www.alexracingusa.com
