If anyone is selling a red or silver pal system, lmk.
AWOLsoldier,

I ordered some Xenon motor mount and drive system components separately to see if I can put something together for you guys. I didn't forget about you and R/C Monk (i believe that was the other guy)

actually the R2 is the easiest car ive driven so far to date...its TQ'ed way too many times and won tons of races...placed in the A main a few times at larger events.....maybe it is time for the R2 to retire

a Pro4 does sound tempting...that would probably be one of my top choices....but i'm one of those guys that likes to run what no one else does in the area which is why i picked the R2...cuz it feels so much better beating someone with a car they've never seen or heard b4 unless they browse the internet like all us other R/C gurus

ive had people ask me what kind of car it is and once in awhile i respond "Nikko" ...i've seen some weird faces lookin at me

i might be getting a reputable sponsor so i might have to put the R2 down for awhile

I want to purchase a Barracuda but need some advice. Should I wait for the R3 or is the R2 with a Xenon kit just as good? I have seen some sweet R2's advertised for sale and I'm tempted. I just want to make sure that I won't regret purchasing the R2 over the R3.

Default my pride and joy :)

Here you go. Note I run the GT7 also. Wires work out well like this. Also, blue is positive.

How about that batter holder? Anyone know the answer?

Is your servo short or is your rec small???

The servo is short (Futaba 9550). Same model that Surikarn used to win the worlds.

Pumpkinfish,

The R3 is coming in next week (just to complicate your decision more ) Seriously speaking, a R2 with a Xenon conversion is a very good car (I think every bit as good as the R3) but if what you're paying for is close to the price of a R3, then I would go with a R3.
