had a fun nights racing last night, originally started out with my losi in the first to heat because ims etting it up for outdoor but then decided it was crap so changed all my electrics into the fish missing a heat beacause of a backward traveling motor :P .In the third heat it was understeering to hell but i continued on the race finishing second last. Had a look at it when it came in to find it had about 5 degree camber on the front (silly me not checking changing camber back after a turnbukel position change) ,so i changed that for the final. Starting from the back of the grid i slowly worked my way upto second by about midway point and was reeling in first to find out i put in the batteries from heat 1 so i managed to crawl along for the next 2 and a half minutes (which i was surprised at) to finish second last .But the car is all hooked up for next week now after months of greef with it not going right

Hey Steve, I got a question on some of your aluminum XXXS stuff, do the pivot blocks have the same geometry as stock?

What's the best way to reduce rear toe on the r2? Stock is three, right? Might be a bit much for the asphault track i'm going to be running at next month.

Also, are there any other shock caps that fit the cuda shocks other than the yokomos? I don't want to get the blue parts and can't really afford to pick up the trf shocks yet.

Switch the rear hubs around. Left to right, right to left.

AWOLsoldier,

Actually, stock is 4 deg. (2 in the arms and 2 in the hub) but if you changed to the other rear hubs (part number 6113 1 deg rear hub) then you have 3 deg. 3 Deg. is fine for most racing application.

If you have the 2 deg rear hub and you flip the hubs left and right, then you'll have zero deg. If you have the 6113 hub, then when you flip them left and right, you'll have 1 deg. rear toe.

Yes i have the stock arms and hubs. What about the uncentered ball studs? I know those will reduce toe but how do they go about doing that?

I have a sad announcement.... i went to the local carpet track and ran some 1:12 scale. I might be hooked now. Considering selling my cuda and getting into 1:12.

Run both, I do. I use the 12th scale as track time when racing so I get more practice. It's not so fun when you have to replace a spur gear, turn marshall, and figure out why your brushes are glazed on the sedan...It's all fun!

1/12 scale is fun, but if you got rid of the sedan, you'd miss it and propably eventually sell the 1/12 to get another...

My sedan racing is first priority but the 12 has been a lot of fun...Randman is right about selling the sedan. I bought my 12L used and already had the 4 cells from my oval pan car. Not the best but they get the job done.
