R3/R2 drivers.. does anyone know if the standard graphite shaft will hold up in 19T?

or has anyone tried it? i think i remember steve saying that it might not hold up in mod? im not sure about 19T.

Alex broke his with a stock motor (a fast one) so I dont think it would hang with a 19t.

johnny,

i remember he broke the ultra lightweight one.. the one thats wrapped in plastic. (that one is esp. designed for stock only, i think its the speedway pal shaft)

did he break the stock graphite shaft also?

I ran the stock shaft with 7 turn motors, no problems at all.

I have ran the stock with 19T and no problems now the pal shaft the ultra light one did not do to well "snap"

thats what i figured. i havent purchased the speedway pal graphite shaft yet. but i remember steve sayin that was only for stock.

i wanted to know b/c i want to run the R3 in 19T on sunday.

oh DOH! that means i have to RACE sunday!

come on down guys.. its fun racing here.. always sunny. this rain stuff will blow over.. then it'll be full blown race season!

by the time spring rolls around.. we should have racing every sunday, tuesday and saturday.

anyways.. back to the Barracuda thread.
