Just an updated car... both are capable of winning races with the right driver.

Word... you can probably still win with a crusty 4 year-old car as well. Just dip it in some glitter, nobody will ever know!

You might want to check out the chassis conversion Xenon has avalible, it's very popular with the R2 owners, speedtechrc.com is the place to go for them. Alexracingusa.com will also have some cool hopup parts.

To those with the tamiya trf shocks, how are they working with the cuda? I'm thinking of giving them a try.

For the Reedy Race of Champions this year, we will try to invade the 19T class. All drivers will be running the R2 with Xenon Stage 2 conversion. We will also trying to become a sponsor for the race, in which we will have a booth there and have the R3 on display.

Has anyone tried the standard R3 on asphalt outdoors? Any comments on performance?

KO,

I'm building an R3 right now, I just need to get the shocks done and that's it! However, I might wait until after the reedy race to run this car. This one needs to be a display car for the shop and at the shows

I tried it...can't figure it out so far.
The car has 'super wide' turning radius compare to other cars...
making it much less agressive when taking corners.
Maybe I have to see what are the differences with my TC3 that has similar steering
