Hey guys,

I finally drove a R2 Xenon of one of our novice drivers. He had it so wrong on set-up as many novices do-but I want to help him out as best I can. Would someone here send me a set-up for this car for carpet/foam tire stock motor?

He had the steering system all wrong and 4mm ride height in back and about 8 or 9mm in front. But-hey we all started there didnt we!!

He also has Tc3 shocks on it.

Thanks,
Ray [email protected]

AWOl-cool deal. I reset his bellcranks, centered his steering servo, reset his toe and ride height then finally put the car on the track and did his EPA's. I can tell this cars got mad steering already as his circles were like 5' in diameter and he had plenty of steering.

Ray:

You might want to PM Linger. He's got a great carpet set-up.

Thanks for the set-up sheet. I must say I was impressed with the car. It felt really light too. Its gotta be underweight (less than 50oz) out of the box.
I'll pop this set-up on it-then drive it again.

You're welcome. You might want to start out with 0 toe in on that setup. My next change will be grey springs in the rear with the greys in the front.

I think they are pretty cool, I have seen a couple here in town. Looks like an oversized Honda Element...those beg to be turned into a street rod, not like a fast and fruitless type.

Nice XB KO!
I've thought about getting the Xa for a commute car...

and to all...had the pleasure of meeting Randman today...he was up at Stockton practice for the Carpet championships this week-end... Very fast with his new Red SD and even fast with his got bad-ass WRX-STi. San Diego to Stockton in under 8 hrs. If he didn't stop for pee breaks.... I bet he could of made it in 7
