Yes it is but I just can't justify spending the money they want for a web. I did just preorder a pink R3, now that's a manly color!

Preordered a Pro 4 too, I figure I better get down for both and get the first one available.

It was mentioned on the Pro4 thread that the front arms are toed-in. for better mid and exit speed...and XXX-S is the same way...
Anybody here have tried that on their 'Cuda with the accemetric ball mounts?

Hmm pink If only there was a good cheap re anodizer in Glasgow I think I probably would
But I doubt there's much call for it around where I live

Toe in at the front seems a very strange idea, maybe they're making up for other problems with the car...
Can't remember seeing many proper race cars with toe in at the front.

QUOTE]Ques: How tight have you got you front diffs set????? and are they perfectly smooth in their action once assembled an installed?????[/QUOTE]

Gazza_D: Well, I thought my diffs were smooth. Not knowing any better, I tried to adjust them the way I do my TC3 diffs - tighten til I feel resistance, then back off 1/4 to 1/2 turn. They feel smooth to me, but if I hold one of the outdrives and the Main gear, I have to try very hard to get the other outdrive to rotate. Does that sound right? How do you tell if your diff is too tight or not?

I was thinking about how I only ever break the long sided outdrive on the front diff, and I thought maybe if my diff were tight, and I hit the left front wheel, then maybe the right side would continue to spin and tear up the diff? Eh, just a thought.

Thanks for the reply.

Sounds to me like you may be putting too much stress on the diff. I'd never tighten it fully then back off, the nut can compress too much into the delrin. You should tighten it a little at a time whilst it's in the car until you can just get the diff to slip with quite a bit of effort. You should get a feel for it after a few times and it will most likely need retightening after a run or two, just a half turn or so. You may want a little slipage, depends on where you're racing, and which end of the car has grip etc.
You may have found your diff problem.

The Pro 4 is definately an impressive looking car from what I've seen at SoCal. It will definately bring some competition to the rest of the cars out there...
