If so, it will be better if you install it with the PAL hubs, coz that was the hot set up in the recent Japan Nationals where the 2 cuda's got in the A-main.
Ahhh how did you know it was the Uncle? yes it is marty's car he has had it for three months and was too lazy to build, so i stole it.

The car looks awesome with all the pink alloy cant wait for him to try it this weekend, for a new car the drive train is very free.

Yes he did get the mid span arms, but it has been built per the kit, post a good setup for outdoor foam, bumpy dirty parking lot style track, and i will put it on for marty.

Some earlier posts answered most what I was going to ask about the mounting positions of the Excel hubs, just one more thing.

I've been using some Jet alloy knuckles with a metric 3mm thread (same as the Pal/Excel rear hubs) the king pins that are supplied with the front hubs do not have a 3mm thread, and the hole is too small for the standard 'hat' fitting. Anyone got any ideas on a king pin that will fit or some other way of installing them??

Are you saying the hole in the Excel hub is too small for the hat peice? They fit perfectly fine in mine.

Definetely, On the front hub the hole in the bottom fits the hat fine the hole in the top is too small, It isn't a fault as the supplied king pin fits fine, but has a self tapping thread.

Also Hermie, what knuckles are you using?

Cheers

Argh, I'm not awake yet
You had me thinking when you said it's supplied with a kingpin as mine weren't. Then I realised I'm thinking of my Xenon hubs that I got with the stage 3 conversion Not the first time I've gotten Xenon and Excel mixed up I'm afraid I can't help you

Good luck on finding that one, but I dont know how easy it's gonna be. A shop in Japan held on to a couple of em for a little while, but I'm sure they are gone by now...

Go STi!
