OK
The R2 "will" have the new Long Span arms
It doesn't come with the Center "drive shaft" Oneway.. but it does have a front Diff~oneway
as far as the Alloy Front and Rear shaft holders.. they are a option...but the car comes with Graphite/Plastic ones
As for the gear covers.. it comes with them.. but if you want the "personal touch" they have colored ones
Now the 6.8mm A-arm balls are standard with the kit.....the "offset" ones are not..

Thanks, kinda had guessed already, nice for others to know though.

Now I need to know how much they all cost from Speedtech

Want this car for a team endurance event in a few weeks, supposedly there are rumours of a team X-Ray and Losi coming, although they won't be the big drivers it's unusual for us to get more than a couple of sponsered drivers from one manufacturer up here in the land of Haggis.

Prices:-
Center One way - Y$3750
Shaft Holders - Y$3750(cant remember whether this is for 1 or 2pc)
Sway bar -Y$780(for 1 piece..if you need both end -Y$1560)
Off set ball-Y$1200(4pc per pack if you use for both end 8pc-Y$2400)
Clolor diff cover-Y$400(i think so)
Mid span A arm-Y$650(1front 1 rear so you need 2set-Y$1300)

so if you really NEED all these stuff be prepared to at least spend $100

what i would recommend it getting first are:-

1)Offset ball for rear(4pc only) for ease of toe in adjustment as you dont really need it on the front end as you could adjust the turnbuckles length to acquire the desired toein/out

2)torque rod to stiffen the front end so as to get more steering

3)swaybars and springs

for all these you may only need no more than $50 for them

I forgot about the Torque Rod Mod.... But I don't think that it's really needed that much with the new arm design...

Default Stupid Question

I am looking at this car with some intrest. Stupid question though, are there english instructions or am I just going to have to look at the pictures. I checked out the manual on the Alex racing site, it doesn't look too bad, just curious about the written instructions is all

Thanks
Matt

Ridered98,

I don't think the TC3 springs will fit, they are a bit too small in diameter for the Barracuda

pkranger63,

The instruction are in Japanese, but the diagrams are very clear so it should be easy to put together. I'm also including a supplement sheet with the car along with some assembly tips.

Also, guys keep in mind that the prices for the parts here are going to be a bit higher than just a normal yen to USD conversion as we have to cover a lot of cost of shipping, customs and other service charges. Thank you for your understanding.
