Heath,

Congrats on the good results, and glad to see the racers helping each other out at the track too

I'm off to the track myself, hope I will have some good runs today myself

By the way, the update from the US Post Office is simply our package is still in custom. I don't know why is in there, but there is nothing I can do

Default Mr. Nakanishi, Alex Racing's President

a pix from last weekend Reedy Asia in Bangkok Thailand. Mr. Nakanishi flew all the way from Japan to support the event as well as their drivers and to display his latest R3. I can tell you that the R3 is super "stiff" ... those glitters on the carbon parts are really cool...

That's definately cool that he came out to the track to support his drivers first hand... Shows that he's still in it for the sport, and not just the cash.

Well he had a price locked in for a 2003 cobra the other day. 31,000 out the door (brand new). After negotiating and test driving and all that, they tell him that the 1500 dollar rebate is now for convertable cobras only. He said he'd pay what they quoted and nothing more and if they wanted to sell him a car to call. He's a captain in the Army, he doesn't have time to spend weeks d*cking around with a stealer so he's just trying the direct routes. Ok You guy back to the R2 I over heard about people saying about R2 spares part are not easy to get and sometime it is not available or out of stock .So I've noticed that speedtech being out of stock on common parts the people breaks the most like ( front hub and A- arm)...I'm not too worry about breaking my car,but I wanted to know that the speedtech carry or stock enough spares aprts for every R2 and R1 owner ? I'm thing about getting a new R3 or special edition R2

The car is very strong as will stand up to the majority of incidents.
Steve at SpeedTech keeps a good stock of spares and hop-ups although somestimes he gets low on stock if demand is high....just like any other hobby store.

You should have no problem with a cuda as SpeedTech are very good with spares, and then theres always the helpful folks on this forum.
We dont have a stockist over here in the UK and have managed to keep my cuda running since I got it, and believe so have the others over here too.

Go get a Cuda, you wont be disappointed

Steve does occasionaly run out of stock of the breakable parts but it's not common the people break parts in the first place. It does help though if you keep a few parts yourself for replacements, so you can swap parts and just order new ones when Steve has them in stock, not having spares is silly for all cars (although on others its because you'll break so many )

If I were you I'd go for the US Edition Steve has put together or wait for the R3, both are great but obviously paying more brings you a little more shineyness

Gazza_D- there are parts available in the UK now although prices are, well, import prices...... still very handy for quick small parts replacements
