Also, I was told by Alex Racing last night that the lamination and construction process is different with the sparkle style chassis, which makes it actually stronger than the woven graphite chassis. And other manufactures are are considering switching over to that style for the hop-up chassis (without the sparkle)

By the way, anyone interested in professional DVD of the Japanese R/C Touring Car National Championship?

Steve Wang
oh yeah DVD sounds great how we go about this?

I am thinking of getting a Barracuda R2. Is there anything that I should know before I make my finial decision?
Such as...
Parts availabitly?

You're as close as you can be to Parts availability.. Speedtech is right there.
Parts that break...the usual...knuckles, hubs, C-blocks... you'll have to hit something very hard to break.
Setup.. on this thread..everyone here will help you get you car set-up. if you race at Socal...there's several racers that can help you get your car dialed...

i did manage to break a front arm... and the pivot ball. 19T, off the side of lap traffic, straight into the wall at full speed. ouch! for a comparison, did almost the same thing with a XXXS the night after, and the front almost exploded! arm, c-hub, shock shaft, shock tower, etc. R2 has definitely shown well above average durability to me!!!

I definately think that would be an awesome idea, seeing as how so many people upgrade those parts right away anyway...
