Well with the new speedo my car was flying Seemed to have more top speed than acceleration, wanted to gear down a tooth on the pinion but my 19 pinion wouldn't fit the stupid hole is undersized so it wouldn't go on the motor shaft, needs a little filing for next week.

Car handled well all night and in the last run with my good cells I drove an almost perfect 5mins and qualified 3rd, just 2.5 seconds behind 2nd. I think the difference was down to tyres more than anything, the two guys ahead of me are both using narrows which give more grip but wear quicker. I'll have to get some narrows for the 30th, a big race at my club Was still nice to be so close to the top two guys indoors, considering they were going well too, infact one was probably having his best night yet, he took pole about 6 seconds ahead of me and it was pretty close for everyone behind me. Final went ok apart from in the first few corners the 4th placed car spun me around had to do a 180 and get going again in 6th or 7th, GRRR, first lap saw me back up to 5th but then everyone ahead was on a fairly even pace. Put 4th under some pressure and he made a few mistakes so I got past but couldn't get to 3rd, the guy who had spun me and just driven off. It really annoys me when people think they need to gain a position off the line, I concentrate on not causing a first corner pile up and follow the car ahead only for the car behind to drive through the rear of my car

Pretty happy with the setup anyway, didn't touch it all night, just need to fiddle witht he speedo settings, may go for 2kHz instead of 1.5kHz.
