I'm one of those americans that knows about a good handling car as well... I have owned a MR2 Spyder (mid engine, RWD) S2000 (front engine, RWD) and WRX STi (front engine, AWD) and all 3 can out handle just about any car I can point to... I still need to get the WRX on the track though

If all you have owned is 3 cars you are still just a young man.
I have had many cars from the best imports to some very sorry cars to show cars . as long as it gets you from point A to point B then your alright!

Only really owned one car, my not so trusty but definetly old VW Polo Handles like a jelly so would suit Americans although it would need to be four times bigger and about eight times more powerful
It just about manages to get from A to B, although not for much longer, probably about 6 months

I qualified 4th and finished 6th in the main today, my p2k2 just didnt have that edge some guys had and a first corner pile up let the first 4 away and then they gradually reeled me in and a couple got past.
Wonder how Dave's getting on today.
