I'd go with the Speedtech Xenon Special, it'll propably be a little tougher than the R3...

Hmm, I believe it does, but battery position really doesn't matter...

...
Try the Tamiya Evo heatsink... fits perfectly!

OVA,

The Xenon R2 setup is the same as the Barracuda R2 (which is just the opposite of the TC3 I believe) As for the special edition kit, we are trying to get what ever R2 is left in Japan (and hopefully at a lower price since the R3 is coming out) and this might allow us to drop the price on the Special Edition. If there isn't any left, we will be doing pre-orders for the R3, and you can then purchase just the stage 1 Xenon kit (special motor mount with 2 piece upper deck and 3mm thick "3D" chassis)

I can still put the special edition R3 together to save you guys some $$$ that decides to get all the hop-ups in one bundle

Default Carpet set-up..

Getting my car tuned up for some carpet action...what do you carpet racers recommend... long or short span arms? It's a large track... pic can be seen at:

If I can get away from attending my company's stuffy Xmas party on Dec. 6th... want to enter the Roar Region 12 Carpet Championship.

How far would that racetrack be from SD? As you can see, I'm craving a carpet fix as of late
