Well the front was ok at around 6mm but the rear was rally car style with about 1cm

The shock positions were the center holes on the shock towers front and rear and on the suspension arms the front were on the outer holes and the rear one in from the outermost holes.

They tyres won't be helping, mini pin tyres have quite a large profile, but they were bald and should only add 1mm or so on the average slick tyre height.

Put one bearing on the Bevel gear half way then put the other bearing onto the other side of the Alloy shaft holder and once you can see the tabs of the bearing making contact with the bearing put a little oil or WD-40 on the Bevel gear tabs then.................. get readdy to push down on the bevel gear( use a hard flat surface to do this) and then with a little effort it will pop right down over the other bearing

but I think that a Picture would better to discribe this

Now that makes a differance... you didn"t say that you wre using the 4x4 super offroader mini pins that might be the differeance.. well what stiffness springs are use using .. mabe I can find the Alex spring that you need...

Well I was going to try yellows and blues, gone back to what I was using last week in Alex Racing springs but one harder up front.
So it's 6.75x1.4 at the rear and 6.50x1.4 at the front.
