I'll keep you guys posted as to how the build is going.

I also ordered the mid span arms for the tighter twisty track we will probably run, carpet by the way , and the short steering post set so I can run with out the gearbox covers.

I called the LHS and had them order a Protoform Alfa 2.0 to go on the car also!!!!

Not sure how I'll paint it up, but I have some ideas bouncin around....Spaz Stix has a killer new orange anodized color....hummmmm....maybe some Allclad chrome

Tamiya F103RS
On that Alfa 2.0, I ran the body and really didn't like it, thats the same thing quite a few others have said as well, I'd recommend the Losi Alfa instead, gives an all around better feeling car, and still has gobbs of steering.

??? Really..? ... I rather Like the 2.0 Alfa...it has gobbs of turn in and steering.... I have used the Losi Alfa and I find that it's a bit on the narrow side for the Barracuda R2

It does have a ton of steering, but no traction on the rear end I thought...

... It has tones of both

But I have found that if you trim down the rear wing and don't use the de-fusers on the wing you will actually be able to get the rear to rotate a bit more

I tried that body back to back with my stratus 2.0, and there was a huge difference. The stratus doesnt have as much steering (thats obvious) but it was very well planted. The Alfa 2.0 had a lot of steering, but the back was sliding all over the place. The Losi Alfa seemed to be right in the middle, it had a lot of steering, but the back end was planted as well.

IC... you ought to try the New Ride MKII or the GT350 Chevron body

but the Buggatti is still my favorite all around... that thing is fast and has grip everywhere

I'm going to have to pick up a GT350 to try out, if it works anything like the buggatti, I'll love it

Think I'll have to try the Mk II since everyone will be getting the GT350 now where can I get one....

I've been using the Alfa 2.0 for some time now, I like it's steering but not sure about rear end grip. If I'm having problems with setup I sometimes go back to my old 300M, which is just nice and neutral. It just feels a little slow getting into corners though when I use the 300M.

So Dave you going to PM me with what I want to know?

Can someone post a pic on the Mk II...not sure what it is or who makes it. The Buggatti is the ChevronEB110M, isn't it?

I think the MKII is Ride's own version of the Dodge Stratus. If I remember correctly what I saw in the Japanese Mag.
