Hmm, nice batteries
Could do with more sets myself although I don't think I'd be able to get that much power down on the wood floor. Some cells that guys like Dave would consider practise packs would be good for me ......

Dave, you know what I'm waiting on

Here's a tip I just worked out through stupidity. If you have put a washer between your c-hubs and suspension arm on the hingepin, to take up slack, make sure it doesn't drop into the groove on the hingepin when you're remiving it. I sat there for 15minutes trying to get the darn hinge pin out, wondering why it wouldn't budge from it's partialy out position DUH!!!

ahwell, bearings going through the shakes now car will be nice and freeeeeeeeeeee tomorrow
Next a shock rebuild, trying to sort out last weeks awful handling

Personally, I like the R2 with the Xenon chassis conversion kit. The R3 is going to be a better kit than the R2 out of the box, but I personally think the R2 with the Xenon chassis is better than the box stock R3. If you have further questions, feel free to email me wyd

Just came back from a long time of racing...actually, racing is still going on right now (I left early because the race day was just getting ridiculously long) plus with the fire going on in Southern Cali, our equipment was all covered with ashes, and so was the track...not the best condition for your health or racin...

I'll post some findings and setups tomorrow.

same here....the Xenon and the PAL A-Spec but the R3 will have a slightly revised chassis as far as battery balance and motor position..... (difference between R2&Xenon/PALchassis)
Xenon/PAL chassis batteries moved 5mm forward and motor moved 2.5mm back
(difference between R2 and R3 chassis)
R3 Chassis batteies moved forward 2.5mm and motor mount moved back 1.5mm

but the R3 has a few more things going for it that will make it that much better from a Diehard TC racers stand point..... better steering system and easy access swaybars...also a few small other details

Hmm, well Xenon spec will do me fine I think
Don't think there's anything wrong with the normal style steering.
Wonder what the other small things are though, Dave quit your job and give us info instead Thats an order

Now also wondering how my cars going to go without a speedo sent my MRT off for a servo lead replacement and now it seems to be lost in the post and of course I didn't bother sending it special delivery
Going to be very out of pocket if it doesn't turn up soon better get the old plastic ready for a melting Hope Steve has some Keyence's in stock next week From now till then though I will be eating tins of baked beans

Hermi,

I don't think there is anything wrong with the R2 steering, as it is the same design as the Yokomo one, and Yokomo is still using that design on their MR-4TCSD, Mini and the 4WD off-road buggy. While I do know of a few TC3 owners switched to the Nitro TC3 steering rack design (I'm not sure which TC3's design did the R3 follow)

I like the smoothness of the yok steering I think the R3 will have the same type steering rack as the TC3 i dont think there going to be using the nitro tc3 rack as some of the tc3 owners have switched too. im waiting to hear some more feedback on this as the R2 can be switched very easy over to a tc3 rack if a person chose to nitro rack in photo

the NTC3 rack feels smoother than the one on the TC3... I had one on my TC3 before I sold it.... Wish I would have kept it
