Also, what is the intensive care system thing? Does the Pro-Trak include that?

intensive care system not included in price - it's essentially an equaliser.

more info at the Protrak site

The equaliser is exactly as the name implies - you should use it every now and then to 'condition' your cells.
The leads you get with the PT allow you to monitor individual cells whilst charging and discharging and this in turn can be shown on your PC either for cell labels or graphing or just to keep a record of your packs.

Alright, seems a little complicated, which is what I like... gives me more to learn I sent an e-mail to Pro Trak asking a couple Q's, so hopefully I'll have one before long.

If there is a 17% discount from ordering myself, I'd like to go that route, I'll let you know though, thank you for the offer.

The ICS brings the cells down to 0 volts, not really what you want for Ni-Mh cells unless you are dead-shorting.

BTW Randman, the Pro-trak front is a 1mm screw fixed steel sheet with a decal on.

Anyway shouldn't we start a Pro-Trak thread and talk about the 'Cuda! My 'Cuda appears to have been lost in the post on it's way back from Australia

The price I worked out was excluding VAT, add 17.5% to get the price we pay over here

Postage to the US is 25, so thats what you'd be saving.

I know George, well I've seen him around at SMTCA events, he'll know me by the noisey car

I moved back to the UK about two months ago and couldn't wait for my 'Cuda to arrive on a ship with all my other stuff so got my ex flatmate to post it. It was insured but it looks like it will take for ever to get sorted out. Maybe in time for an R3 or a Pro4

Nice I like green headlights Maybe would have had a colour on the rear instead of white, but still very nice, I like the R2 on the front

I think Dave's lost the ability to use a digital camera either that or he's busy working
