It sounds like it's an extremely accurate charger, sounds very nice! The black heatsink would work fine with me, wish there were still pics avalible of the faces he could do. Well once I get my GFX fixed, I'm gonna propably have to order myself one of those chargers

Black, hmm...
The facia's weren't all that different, I like the multi coloured one the best anyway. They're all a lot nicer than the old one you used to get, there's an old pic of it on the site somewhere, orange, yellow and red stripes, yuk

I think I ran across a pic of the old face... not so pretty. I'd really like a red heatsink, since my current craze is red, but if it's not an option, black will have to do

Does the guy give any kind of deals or discounts on occasion?

Don't think discounts are common, but he does sponsor a few drivers in the UK. Maybe he could do with opening up the market at SoCal......

Hmm interesting, would need to rest it against a wall though I'd imagine, unless you have some sort of leg at the back to steady it.

Default Pro-Trak Discounts!

If you live outside of the European Union you don't pay VAT so deduct 17.5% from the price. I got mine while I was living in Australia for less than my brother who live less than a mile from Phil!

BTW if any-one wants a template to make a custom front panel deop me an email and I'll send you one.

on the R1 aluminum shaft holder, where can you get the plastic peice that holds the bearing into place?

is it an item that came with the kit? or can this item be bought?

any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

The ring itself is aluminum or plastic I have seen both.
it came with the R1 kit part # I dont have but the ring is 4mm in width 10mm overall dim. insdie dim. is 8mm
I dont think it would be to hard to make or find something that would work if you really want them. plus on the front side of the gear before it goes threw the bearing you must have a 1.5 mm spacer so keep that in mind .

Here's a pic of the Pro-Trak with the motor run in assembly.
You can get by without one but it helps with the pulsed run in, of new motors.

Oh and if you want to know what the top boys think of em..... Surikarn and his mate both used Pro-Trak to charge their batteries when making the worlds A final last year. Mmmmm seemed to do a good job for one of them anyway!!!

I'll try to get in contact with him and see if I can get the price dropped a little bit. I've never seen one of the chargers at SoCal...

Wow, that's a nice discount! I'll contact him now and see what he can do. What is the face of the charger made of?
