Steve,

isn't it right that front droop can affect the steering ability of your car? The reason why i'm asking is that I have a set up that I want to try out, but i dont know how to measure properly the front droop of this car.

Thanks in advance!

The front droop can effect the steering only coming out of corners, if you need more steering going into the corner, give more rear droop.

Real well, the reason I'm selling some stuff is because it's going into the shop on Tuesday to get some work done

I'm gonna have a custom made FMIC put on there within the month as well, so that'll help condense the air for some more power

I got white with gold wheels. I was going to go with silver wheels, but since the car has gold brembo brakes, I wanted to match Looks really good IMO

whats the difference between the Original Barracuda and the R2?

if there are any differences, would it really affect the overall handling?

thanx

Thanks Randman.

With this i wanna go back to what im really asking for: how do you measure front droop in the R2, against the base of the Hub carrier or the screw at the bottom of the Hub carrier (both can give different droop numbers)?

btw, when you mean give more droop, do you mean higher numbers based on droop gauge level (e.g. from 4 to 5) or the reverse?

Sorry if i sound dumb. just wanna make sure im doing the correct settings to my car

Steve
The chassis is slightly different, the alloy shaft holders on the original use one bearing instead of two, slightly different A arms (I think )
The main difference is the chassis, with the cells on the R2 being closer to the center, giving a better balance.

The usual place to measure droop is the bottom edge of the hub or end of the suspension arm.
More droop is when the suspension arm can go lower, and should mean a higher number, but I've seen gauges with different numbering systems it's about time I bought my own actually

More droop actually means a lower #, allowing the suspension to have more downtravel.
