The car does really work well in stock form, that's how I ran my first R2, and I did real well with it. There are a ton of hopups out there, but you really dont need em.

Stock form is ok for 19 turn and mod? I know it has to have the pal shaft system to keep the gears in good shape.. Nothing else is really needed

You don't need the pal drive system for 19 turn. I'm going to get it just "to get it" or maybe the aluminum shaft holders. I'm going to get the ti screw kit because I want it, sway bars because I like them on carpet, and maybe the mid span arms. I was gung-ho yokomo here but was convinced I'd like the Cuda better. Said it was more bullet proof than my yoke and it was pretty solid car, rarely did I break. ALWAYS was there at teh end. I have yet to break my car yet. It's faster than my yoke and my tc3 that I don't have anymore. No torque steer. Go to speedtechrc to see cool parts for it. Dave, KO and some others are always there to help. And that they have been to me is great help when I need it. Red Bull Fixx is help with setups...need I say more??

Steve is the man for thye Cuda in the states... he can get about every part under the sun if it's made for the R2 and he has a huge stock of spare parts on tap when you need them so parts supply is not a issue

Busy redesigning the front and rear shock towers to add more outer locations. On the rear.. the body post gets in the way that the outer most location is not usable.

sounds like a challenge, not many extra places to move the shock towers to if you want them well spaced and close to the rear.
