Thanks for the nice photo's KO
gives the best shot of how chunky the new chassis really is, looks sweet
your filing work looks nice and tidy
you going to get round to building it soon?
I was actually looking to see how the cells sit in the slots, not had a chassis with those shaped slots before, although seen plenty of kits have them, I still wonder why they do it like that.

I never do one slot at a time, I do all 6, then sit the batteries in them, and see where I need to grind more. The right top and bottom of the cell sits differently in the slots, so I make sure that the cell is actually touching the battery slot when it's laid in there, more security on the packs.

Looks good Joseph, the Evo 3 chassis slots were a little tricky to get perfect, because they are at an angle
the only way to do it was with a dremel, took a while to get them all right.

herm ...this isnt the best picture but gives you a ideal they sit level with the bottom of the chassis and should stay in place.
with the new pal chassis there isnt a place for the battery strap its tape only on this chassis so keep that in mind if your use to a strap

#4559

this is for people that want to peep from the rear

Great pics KO
thanks
Love the concealed sticker
Plenty glue there holding your cells together, what kind of glue is it? I know some people use hot melt glue but that kinda does what it says, melts when it gets hot
such as when the cells are used
Seen there are no holes for the battery strap posts, and on the PAL chassis the extra cut outs limit options but I think I may be able to work something out for the Xenon version.... just better be VERY careful with the drill...
Oh and Dave, Just in case, could you get me a roll of nice strapping tape
