BTW, I modified the car today to have a shorter wheelbase, and it did help the understeer quite a bit, and made the car easier to drive.

If anyone is interested, I can post pics and instructions of what I did...

Congrats on the findings with the car Randy...but I think that the Xenon chassis will fix most of your problems 90% sure of it..since the local trak owner runs modified and he has a similar problem as you and dave..

Just maybe modify a few things but nothing big that I can think of. Still have to give the car a spin before I can make some suggestable changes.

Default Shock problems

Guys,

I am new to this car and yes its a great car. I've been turning
in same lap times as my SE Evo3 (w/c i believe is already
well tuned to our local trak) on my 1st outing. I know I can get
much more when i set it to my preference. My problem is
I used my Tamiya shocks on the 1st day of testing cause
I was so excited i skipped assembling the orig. Now that i have
the original shocks on i dont like the characteristics of the
car anymore. I have gone back to my Tamiya shocks but I
really do want to use the Cuda shocks. What are your suggestions?
I just did fine tuning with Tamiya shocks and it feels already
better than my SE Evo3.

start with drilling the pistion holes out to 1.2mm each and that will make them feel similar per the same oil...but the Barracuda shock is a great one...just give them a chance
