He said stop that kind of talk, this is for the cuda, not your dirty talk, no matter how long you've been stuck on that hot, crampt, sweaty, steamy, male dominated, bobbing boat

Good job you gave me those cards Steve, already got a guy at my club very interested in the R2, he's heard of the Cuda before because his family is from somewhere like HK, he's got an X-Ray and it's very fast but has always handled cack indoors, first run out on dual diffs and my Cuda handled better than any other car I've driven indoors apart from maybe one week where my Lab wasn't as stable but it was predictable and fast, not as easy to be consistant with lap after lap though.

PAL Drive

Is there any website (in English) that sells the Pal Drive for the R2? Will SpeedTech be carrying them?

Hi Guys,

We are getting the PAL motor mount/drive shaft unit. They should be shipping them out to us today, which means we should have them towards the end of next week. Honestly though, I'm not sure how many we are getting but they definitely held some aside for us, it seems to be an extremely popular item in Japan.

Also, we will be getting the aluminum c-hubs and rear hub carrier in the same shipment it seems like. We got some prototypes in and they look very nice and I believe they are cheaper than the square ones. These are made by Xenon Racing, a strong supporter of Alex Racing products in Japan.

Lastly, we are trying to get some Xenon Racing inserts in to try out. Supposedly, these are the top secret inserts used by all the fast guys (including Masami Hirosaka) in Japan. I heard the R&D and designer of Tamiya cars ran them this past tuesday at SoCal too. Well, secret no more!

Herm, time for bed...R/C tech will still be here tomorrow when you wake up

JohnA cursed me

I tried to sleep but couldn't.

You probably see my name logged in all the time but rest assured I'm not constantly looking at this site, I just leave my pc on all the time and normaly have a window with rctech on it, saves opening one every hour or so

So I take it the motor mount comes with the alloy drive shaft witht he ball joint ends then. I kinda like the light weight graphite shaft, with no slop from the dog bone type joint. Seems like another part to wear out, especially if it's aluminium. Not like I can afford it yet anyway

Top secret insirts jeez I never knew an insirt could be that super important, with my mini pins I generally use whatever I can find, within reason. Slicks I just use take offs for proper racing and keep the old black take off insirts for them. Whats the secret? they filled with helium bubbles to make them extra light instead of normal air bubbles actually how about the stuff F1 cars use to inflate their tyres, a mixture thats extra stable at high temperatures
