I think he'll do it if you let him paint a barbie on the side of it
that and some payment may help

He must be busier now he's back at work, but we haven't heard of any repairs he's needed to do things going better Dave? or not racing much? or things so bad you're ashamed to tell us?

Final preperations are going on for tomorrow. Car needs some putting back together, I have removed some of the side to side play in the front one way, so it's as far away from the small gear as possible. Also needed to remove the topdeck anyway to get to the screw for the turnbuckle ball link, after searching for my 2mm hex driver always the last place you look (no, not my tool box )
Ordered a few pinions too, I need 33-35 one guy has geared a 19turn at 4.8 around the track but he says it was a little hot I'm expecting to be in the very low 5's though, although some people are overgearing there 19turns I'm sure, I've run mine at 6.03 when others were at 5.5-5.8 and I killed all their cars for speed everywhere on the track
helps my comm last a load longer too

You need to file down the battery slots until the batts sit flush with the bottom of the chassis. I seal everything, even the countersunk holes...

You seal any piece of graphite that could splinter. Technically you dont need to do the upper deck or shock towers, but it will look much better if you do.

Use a file, and do it at a 45 degree angle.

Xenon did that so that that the Dog bone would sit more level and you had more options with the rear rollcenter.
