JDM,

Thanks and I really appreciate that. Hopefully once built I can post a picture of it here. I know this is not the easist of cars to built but it looks really solid so far.

P.S. Now, could it be that because this is the web version, its different then the other cuda? reason is, on the english supplement sheet, it said to take #2 of the part tree yet, its a spring spacer guide. LOL..
Hold up on building the Shocks!! ...wait till I post the pic`s ...much easier to understand.....trust me..and I`ll give you some tips on how to get the perfect air balance

If you need help, my shocks are smooth as silk, just bring them to Hitec tomorrow.

Hi Randy,

Won't be able to make it tomorrow nor head down near Diego. But I'll check with your come next Tuesday at the track. Again, good luck and do bring home the win.

P.S. don't let the fast guys intimidate you. Don't let the hacks throw you off. Keep your own pace and timing.

What problems are you running into?

One thing for sure, the spacer that goes into the bottom cap first, make sure it goes in all the way, and is straight, otherwise it will bind the shaft.

Well I finaly raced my Cuda for the 2nd time I seem to be getting more comfortable with the car. I did strip the spur in the 1st heat I only got one lap in, but it was a good one 15.2.

I Qualified 10th for the main, with a 18 5:02

I made it through the first turn without being taken out, wile they sorted out the carnege I was solidly in 3rd.
I did bobble in the end of the main and my motor lost some of its punch, "Gearing" so I finished in 5th but I did turn 19 laps so I am happy

Car is verry forgiving and fun to drive, just wish I was a better driver. I need to race more than once in a wile.

Any one out there have a good gearing suggestion for a Monster stock and a MVP stock.

I am using 72T 48pich, Track size is small to med.

Thanks

I've been running anywhere from a 6.8 ratio, to a 7.4, 7.1 seems to be the best with the monster stock. That would be a 70 tooth spur with a 24 pinion. You could get away with a 25 tooth pinion on your 72 tooth.

hi guys, i'm thinking of buying a R2, so i just want to ask a few questions if ya don't mind.
i notice alot of you have upgraded your drivelines, is this very nessisery?
i haven investicated that much yet but it looks like the car has no centre brace? does it have much flex?
also i run on a tight medium-low grip track(very bumpy aswell) not to mention dirty and dusty will this be no problem for the R2?
thanks heaps guys!
