Steves Price at SpeedTech is just as good as you would pay in Japan...so there is no need to get it anywere else...you`ll just endup paying more for it....

Yeah, when Steve first brought the R2, the price was a little high, but now that the car is proving itself and getting more popular, he has it really cheap. Even cheaper than R10 when I looked.

Got my R2 all ready for SoCal tomorrow. Propably going to install the offset pivot balls and mess around with the toe in a bit. See if I can get any more traction that way. The front end has been planted from the first run, but the rear is just a hair loose.

try a 0.8mm sway bar up front or a 1.0mm one up fron...also raise that rear roll center and lower the front

Sounds good Dave, I'll give that a shot tomorrow (without the swaybars, dont have em yet) I wish LA traffic didn't suck so bad, I could visit Speedtech before I went to SoCal.

Think a 2mm shim will work on the roll center?

No prob EL Randman, I've been learning a bit more about this car lately, I can help you to do more than just sort it out

For anyone thinking about an SD vs. R2, hey the Sd is nice, but the R2 is certainly better especialy if you plan on running in 27T, or 19T spec, it is a well developed car, the setup is stunningly simple, only thing to consider is spares are not stocked in many hobby shops in the States, if you can get past that...you will love this car

But on the bright side, when I had my SD, I went through a bunch of spares, with my R2, I havent needed to fix 1 broken part. This is the best handling, and lightest brick the touring car scene has ever dealt with.

Hey randman, did you just build the car how they told you exactly in the instructions, or are the modifications you have to do like in many other cars.

I built it exactly like the instructions said. When I built, I used the tips on the Alex USA site donated from Dave Bristol. Nothing out of the ordinary, just box stock...
