I replaced some parts but the car still has a major tweak or something- it's just not the same right now. Looks like I'll be tearing the whole car down and going over the car with a magnifying glass

In my absence Randman stepped up to the plate and represented the Cuda very well- good job. I guess you got the loose rear figured out. Btw- I measure my droop setting from the outermost part of the arm itself so that means the rear is set at 7.5mm.
Remember that anything that hits the Terminator (t3) will be terminated. Its not the cars fault

Wink Million dollar question

So.... What was an off-road stadium truck doing on a parking lot track other than going fishing?

Thanks.
I had the SD, and although it is a nice car, it is just too fragile. I spent about $40 in one night replacing parts on that car, and havent broken anything but a spur gear on my Barracuda so far in 2 racedays. The R2 is much smoother on the track. Both cars were easy to find setups for here in SoCal, so dont let that change your mind. Last week on my first night out with the R2 I took the TQ in Expert Stock at SoCal, and ended 3'rd, yesterday I placed 3'rd in Expert Stock at the local parking lot races. I definately say R2 over SD. It's going to be a very successful car!

LOL, the chocolate hostages, that's a new one. I prefer "corn eyed brown trout"

now we're way off topic

Yeah, I saw you were having a rough day, that really sucked. One other R2 driver also broke his outdrive that day, so I wonder if it is a weakness, maybe we could try fitting on the outdrive saver rings like the Yokomo SD. The loose rear end was just tire selection...

I was trying to figure that out as well, it was a novise driver, and he was just plowing into everyone, almost took me out, but I sneaked by him. I dont think I'll be doing parking lot racing again there, for 1, it's too hot! And for 2... well the T3 wasn't the only offroad car there, hurting!

Hey guys, I am thinking of getting a cuda, so I have been reading here, but talking about novice!!!! We had a guy get out his Tmaxx in the practice session betweem the qualifiers and the mains, and he sat there and just ran across dividers, and all other things, and people were practicing and running their cars, the hobby shop owner was grabbing lunch or somthing so he didnt see all this.

Jeesh, and the worst part is this guy doesnt even own an on road car of ANY sort, and he had his whole pits set up.

Take the offroad stuff to the offroad tracks. There is no need for them to be running on an on-road layout, I know that would bore the heck out of me if I had an off-road car.

You could order it from Japan, wait longer than you will ordering from Speedtech, and pay about $30 more for shipping... Paying the tax is cheaper.
