I have heard of people using the R1 shaft mount on the R2. Difference is the R2 shaft mount has 2 bearings each, rather than 1. Stock racers use the R1 shaft mount to eliminate another bearing and trying to free up the transmission as much as possible.

I'm learning, arent you proud Dave?

KO or Dave - Are the body post locations on the web edition the same as the R2? I want to cut out my body and have it all ready for when the web arrives.

Randman,

Yes, it's coming, but only a limited quantity. By the way, I won't be making SoCal tomorrow night

Dang, hopefully the stock springs will work, at least for 1 day. If not, I'll have to make a little drive to your shop and pick up a few parts.

When do you think you're going to have the FLAP chassis in stock?

I was privileged enough to give Red Bull’s Cuda R2 with a Novak Bl a spin this evening at socal. My first impression…………… wow. I now find my self-suffering from cuda envy.
