Small report from the track.
At the LRP TCM race it´s usual using a track design for 2 years. This year it´s a new design what is a little more open and flowing. Also a brandnew carpet what lacked grip in the beginning but that´s usual also. So more of a driftchallenge in the first round of practice but in the third and last round there was a pretty good grip what will improve even more on saturday for sure.
Today there was just registration and practice for the Modified/Masters class.
Tomorrow there will be two rounds of practice for the HPI-Challenge classes what means action for me also. I will start in group 2 what is just 7 hours away from now.
Drivers attending are the usual european topguns as Andy Moore and Craig Drescher from the UK, Germany´s Marc and Tony Rheinard, Ronald Völker, Marc Fischer and Alex Stocker, also Teemu Leino, Juho Levanen, Steen Graversen, Jilles Grosskamp and many more. From oversea there are Adachi from Japan and Paul Lemieux from the USA. I think numbers of brushless is dominating during practice but some drivers are trying both brushless and brushed motors. One of the drivers used the new Quark Plasma brushless controller motor looked like a GM EVO3.
Now some impressions from the track
