Yeah that 19 turn tekin speedy looks really slick and small, I have seen the new orion Brushless speedy and it looks fast but a bit ugly.
I think the Lrp speedy, orion 3.5, novak 3.5 will be the best combination as the LRP wont thermal because i dont think it has a blue sensor wire, and the new orion brushless motor will be the same as the novak 3.5 and the 3.5 is blistering fast.

The tekin is sweet.
The LRP Sphere with the 4300 didnt work out for me I cooked a motor.
I'm running the GTB and loving it. Also they have the best support in the buissness. The orion is variable from what I heard it changes from sensorless to sensor on its own. I cant wait to run one against my GTB. I'll say this for the LRP its easy to set up and has all the punch money can buy.

Yeah the Orion can change sensored to sensorless whenever, I also have a GTB 5.5 combo and am going to run that in my 1/12 scale and am looking for a new combo for my new touring car.
Any idea when the Team Orion comes out?

Witch novak brushless is good for 1/12 mod?

Umm i would recomend a 5.5 on a pretty open track or a smal track because you can dial down your throttle epa and throttle exp.

I think that ORION will introduce their brushless system late January / early February '07. It will not be just one version. They will most likely cover all needs of the market.
Click on my blog link, below at my signature. There you can have a look at photos from the prototype version.
The stickers are made by me, so my guess is that production version will look different.

LRP is coming out with new brushless system. Basically a Sphere with built in fan and new software (new software again, sigh), and some new super duper motors. My Sphere 2007 is on order with 5.5 and 4.5 motors.
Novak was the first to successfully market a brushless system and is IMO the only manufacturer that is able to run with LRP.
As for the Orion system. Oscar Jansen is definitely a believer in brushed motors so don't expect Team Orion drivers to run brushless soon.
The Tekin system looks nice on pictures but it's the only thing I've seen of it.
Aviox, Hacker and some other I don't remember the names of are interesting options.
The problem with brushless is that if you want to try all the options then the cost runs in thousands of dollars, and since brushless is evolving quickly all your investment will be worthless in couple of years.

Also it was an Orion BL system that won the last big race in Europe (and that was back in August), the European Champs, so I think that they are ready to enter the BL market and they will do so with a full line of brushless systems.
