Any reason not to buy a Futaba 3PKS?
Is there any reason not to buy a Futaba 3PKS?
I am afraid that I am going to buy one now and in a couple of months that they are going to come out with a new 2.4ghz radio. Is the 3PKS nice enough that I shouldn't care since it has a nice feature set and I could always get a 2.4 module and receiver for it? TIA |
I can't think of any reason not to get one. It's an amazing radio, I love mine.
Also, Futaba has just released a transmitter only version for about $225. So you can get it with Futaba's 2.4 or Spektrum. |
I ran an m8 for atleast 5-6 years then switched to the 3pks and wow what a difference.I can't think of any reason to not pick it up right away!

well, hmmmm its not KO, :)

NO! Can't think of one reason not have a 3pks.

My son has used futuba radio systems for the last 18 years as far as were concerned there is no other choice if your racing rc competively.

I've owned the KO Helios and the 3PK. Definitely go with the 3PK.
|
I have used Airtronics, KO, JR. Nothing is as good as my 3PKS with Futaba's 2.4 system.
Very easy to use and feels very nice with the drop down! |
3PK with spekky conversion
no probs atall  |
If it feels good in your hand, go with it.
Performance is the same for all of them. I simply dont like look of 3PKS so i went with HELIOS, |
IT`S UGLY :ha:

Tower also has 3pks with futaba 2.4 module and receiver. I assume the 2.4 Recievers and Modules can be used with the ver.1 Titanium 3PKs with no hassle.. |
